Developed in Association with artist Lella Cariddi and Multicultural Arts Victoria, this video work is a reflection identity, place, migration and the ethics of storytelling. Featuring the personal reflections of Italian Australian Artist Lella Cariddi and the poetic works by Luna Mrozik Gawler, Rosi Kennedy and Katie Doherty, this work focuses on the motivations of migration and the challenges of dramatic geographic and cultural change - and the significance of such stories in modern-day Melbourne.
Whether it was ribbons was shot and edited by Luna Mrozik Gawler and screened at Encounters Festival 2017, the launch for Lella Cariddi's book What Happened at the Pier, 2017 and was featured at Melbourne University's Diversity Week 2018.
